Allied Biotech, Inc. (ABI) is an early stage biotechnology company located in Maryland. The company's primary focus is on three aspects, including bio-reagents, biotech services and a biotech center for new business development. Bio-reagents include development, production and marketing of monoclonal antibodies and their derivatives, in which general products can be used for research reagents, while those related to diagnostic and drug candidates will be employed to develop new drugs. Biotech services will include providing the company's expertise and facilities to customers to generate revenue.
The new business development center will support new projects of biotechnology with space and funds and marketing mature products. The ultimate goal of ABI is to take advantage of the biotech corridor in Maryland, to identify new genes and proteins, and finally to develop protein-targeted new drugs for cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease and immune systems. We expect to establish a stable and mature R&D group as well as a production base, and make ABI one of the top biotech corporations in the world.
