Allied
Biotech, Inc. currently has a number of projects in progress:
- HIV
vaccine research.
The objective of this project is to develop an HIV TAT protein-based
vaccine, in which mutated TAT protein will be expressed in E. coli.
The derived vaccine will be used for preventing or curing HIV patients
(this project is expected to be finished in one year and submitted to
the Chinese FDA for drug approval).
- Screening
new drugs against cancer.
Allied Biotech, Inc. is using fluorescence techniques to identify specific
target molecules against three well-characterized tumor-related factors:
mdm2, skp2 and efp.
- New
protein study.
We are studying the function of a new protein involved in atopic dermatitis
and breast cancer.
